A Message from Julio:

When I think about what I love most about being a college counselor, it always comes back to the students—their stories, their questions, their moments of clarity. Applying to college isn’t just about test scores and essays; it’s about asking, often for the first time, “Who am I becoming?” and “What do I want to do with the opportunities ahead of me?”

I believe that the best college applications aren’t performances. They’re honest, thoughtful reflections of who a student is and what they care about. My job is to guide students through that process of reflection—helping them explore their interests, make informed choices, and tell their stories with clarity and confidence.

Working with students and families through this exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) chapter is a privilege I never take for granted. I’m grateful for the trust families place in me—and I love the work every day.
